Take the report tour

The fastest way to learn the report is to watch one. The tour opens a real SessionCost report, built from a made-up chat, and walks through every part of it, opening each view for you and highlighting it with a short note: what it shows, and what to do with it.

Start the tour

It opens in a new tab and plays by itself, about three minutes in all. Press Pause to stop on a step, Next and Back (or the arrow keys) to move yourself, and Esc to close it and look around on your own. The Take the tour button in the corner starts it again.

What the tour shows

1. The answer first: how much the chat sent, and how much with the fixes.
2. The biggest fixes, and the key numbers that stay in view.
3. The path: every turn as a tile, and Step 0, what is sent before you type.
4. The turn panel: one turn opened, where its money went.
5. Charts: the same chat as charts.
6. Agent flow: which agents worked, and what each one did.
7. How to save and Safety rules: the rules to paste to your agent.
8. The Trace & risk map: every step on one map, the risky ones in red, and the guard.
9. The ? buttons that bring you back to this help site, and the light and dark switch.

On a phone the tour skips the sidebar, which moves into the ☰ menu there.
